Mattresses and sofas carry specific disposal handling and often a per-item fee at transfer stations. We price that in honestly, collect from wherever it's sitting, and record the disposal against your job.

How this is priced
No flat "one van load" price — a light bulky load and a heavy dense load cost us very differently. Your quote is built from these components:

Why is there a separate fee for sofas and mattresses?
Transfer stations charge per item for these. We pass that on transparently rather than hiding it in the total.
Can you take a mattress from upstairs?
Yes — tell us the floor and whether there's a lift, and we'll include access in your price.
Do you recycle?
Where the receiving site accepts them, mattresses and sofa components are recovered rather than landfilled.
